CNJ EMPLOYEES

John Dudas, Co-owner...
John Dudas, Co-owner      With over 25 years straight in the comic book business, John still only learned that comics were fiction about two years ago. You'd think being a full time firefighter for the City of Cleveland would have taught him this fact years ago, but he still has hope. He is responsible for organizing all those really cool events we have, and controlling the inventory. John believes in the morals of the stories he's peddling and is always there to lend you an ear and give you a recommendation. The key to success? Follow through and attention to detail. All he promises is that he tries really hard and loves his mother. Which brings us to...

Carol Cazzarin, Co-owner...
Mother of John. The glue that holds the whole thing together. (Just watch what happens to the store when she goes on vacation for a week.) Carol's been around quite a while too and still manages to look younger every year. (It's probably that damn Wii-Fit!) Carol is in charge of the subscription service and paperwork. She is also the smile behind the counter that is always waiting for you. The key to success? The fact that John doesn't realize she's actually the key to his success. (Yes, Mom, I do.)

John Shearer, Manager...
No one is quite sure how long John's worked here, but it's been a while so we made him manager. Want to discuss Ultimate Spider-man like you ought to discuss Odyssey or Iliad? Care to hear a three minute diatribe about why he doesn't like YOUR favorite comic book? Then John's the guy for you. But what prevents him from becoming the stereotypical elitist comic book guy? The fact that he takes as well as he gives, so debate away! He can take it. Second to none (maybe one) in comic book knowledge and always dead on with his recommendations.

Jim Guilliams, Assistant Manager...
James Guilliams/Wolverjim, Assistant Manager      The heart and soul of the store. In charge of store appearance and being a great guy. A master at holding a cup of coffee and looking like he's doing nothing when, actually, he's doing everything. Jim's also in charge of our recycling program, which makes him the worldliest member of our little crew. jim's other hobbies? Smoking cigarettes, having a good time, and Batman. We believe Jim is in man love with...

Randy Crider...
Our indie comic expert. Every store needs at least one of those people. You'd thik he was snobby if he didn't know what he was talking about and wasn't so darn helpful at helping you find that stuff that the rest of us just plain don't know what you mean when you tell us about. Jaded as he is on the superhero genre, he'll still give you a sharp glance if you're caught badmouthing Jack Kirby. He's Randy. He was just sort of a package deal with Jim.

Kevin Monahan...
Kevin's self-declared specialty is statues, but then again, he's also a self-declared tracer inker. Kevin is our family man, which also puts him in charge of store maintenance and minor store repairs. Like when John D. sits on the sink and snaps it off the wall causing the back room to flood. Kevin is a really good guy to talk to about the finer points of comic book artwork.

Charles Cartier...
Charles was hand picked to become the back issue protege of John D. from literally thousands of auditions. His ability to link brains with John as far as keeping the inventory in perfect order is almost uncanny. You don't get to see Charles much because the chain that links him to the back room only stretches about ten feet past the back door, but, believe us, he's back there making things work for you. And hey, he's a pro juggler, too. He also attends Case Western Reserve University which makes you wonder what he's doing working here anyway.

Zelda MacGregor...
Zelda      Ah, yes, Zelda. Our first female employee. Displaying the personality we all do not have (who else can stand on the counter and yell at people?) she has definitely found her position on the crew. Zelda is in charge of manga, the colorful artwork on signs throughout the store, and also for the maintenance of this website. She also likes to correct the grammar on John D.'s inner store memos with a red pen, much to his chagrin and dismay. Please don't ask her about Fables.

Jason Kucsma...
Our Technical Advisor. Brother to Jim Guilliams. Called in when needed, Jason is in charge of making sure the computers and what not are up and running on a regular basis. Jason's most famous quote: "As your technical advisor, I advise you to not open that email." Jason has singlehandedly prevented Carol from getting into numerous multi million dollar deals with princes from Nigeria.

Winston Zeddemore...
Winston is, above all things, a jerk. He doesn't contribute very much except to sleep and eat and sometimes slap us around. He enjoys porn, cosplay and World of Warcraft (Wow). He is also the Head of Security.
