It’s finally here! Forever Evil comes to a close with Forever Evil #7!

Forever_Evil_7

Geoff John’s and David Finch have written what is arguably the best DC story since the reboot of the New 52 almost three years ago. This book has been delayed, subsequently delaying other books, but the flood gates are now open and it’s all coming to a close. To celebrate we’ll be offering a great free giveaway with the purchase of this book!

Buy a copy of Forever Evil #7 and we’ll give you a free copy of DC’s Graphic Novel Essentials and Chronology 2014!

DC

This full color 150 page book is not only a catalog outlining DC’s best selling graphic novels, it also gives a complete list for the reading order of those graphic novels by character! Can’t figure what order you should be reading all those Batman books in? Here’s the solution! Pretty good deal considering FE  #7 is only a $4.99 book. Even if you haven’t read the book till now, hop on board for this last issue and you’ll be all ready for Justice League Of America #30, also coming out this week!

justiceleague30

This is the book they’ve been holing until Forever Evil was over! “Injustice League” begins here as Lex Luthor leads the team while heroes quit and villains join. (And Superman’s left out in the rain.) Also this week is the final issue of Justice League #14, so you can see how that book wraps up in the aftermath of FE #7.

As if DC wasn’t having a big enough week, another long awaited project comes out, the original hardcover featuring Black Canary and Zatanna, Bloodspell!

Over at Image, Mark Millar continues with his in house imprint with MPH #1!

mph1

You can hate me for this but I have to out of respect for Zoe. What do you do when you’ve had enough My Little Pony? You move on to IDW’s new Littlest Pet Shop #1!

Littlest_Pet_Shop_1

Two years ago I would have told you My Little Pony was a bad idea too. Put this book in you little girl’s (or boy’s) hand and watch what happens. I’ve stepped on enough of those blasted little things to know how this is going to go over. We’ll also have a new issue of MLP Friends Forever in this week too. (seriously, Zoe’s going to run the shop some day, I had little say in this)

Okay, okay, we’ll move on to Marvel now, but I’ll just give you a few cover images to get you ready for the week.

Here’s the new Deadpool Annual #2:

Deadpool helps out Spidey for a while by donning the red and blue!

There’s also a pretty cool reunion story going on over in Amazing X-men#7 this week:

Why it’s Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends! (where’s Ms Lion?)

Here’s the link to Comic Book Heritage Night At Great Lakes Brewery on May 30th! http://www.greatlakesbrewing.com/events/3685

A really great way to get a sketch from some of the artist’s that were out for free comic book day, but in a much more relaxed environment. (and drink beer with us!) We’ll have a full email out this week with all the details!

That should be enough to get you really excited about what looks to be a great week! Thanks for tuning in and we’ll see you this week at the comic book shop!
