Captain America Day at CNJ Comics June 14th
Well, as is now public record, Captain America the Winter Soldier will be filming on the Fairview Bridge on Friday June 14th. Not only is that right around the corner from the shop, but Kamm’s Plaza will be used as a staging area for the filming So we’ve proudly chosen this day to be Captain America Day at the Shop!
With the help of our friends at Marvel Comics we’ll be able to give out:

So if you plan to stop by Kamm’s Corner to see any of the filming, make a stop by the shop. We’ll be there from noon till 8pm. Get a free comic/graphic novel, buy some stuff, take a cool picture. As the last comic book shop in the city of Cleveland proper we’re proud to have Captain America filming here. We’re Cleveland. We’re a blue collar hard working town. We can all get up for work a little earlier to have something so cool happening in our city. I’ve worked for the Cleveland Fire Department for 19 years and the line between reality and fiction blurred a little the other day when I heard “Engine-38 on standby for the Captain America helicopter landing” on the department radio. What a cool time to be in Cleveland.
Tough it up! Give Hollywood some room! I have to get a little earlier to get to work too. 😉
