Walking Dead Midnight Release Event! This Tuesday, October 8th from 11:30pm to 12:30am!
To celebrate the release of Walking Dead #115 Image Comics is letting us sell the book early at midnight! On Tuesday October 22nd at 7pm CNJ Comics will be pairing up with Great Lakes Brewery for Cleveland Beer Week for “Hops and Heroes”. We’ll actually be there with Pub Brewer Joel Warger and Author Brad Ricca pairing beers with comic books! Elliot Ness and Captain America? Superman and Dortmunder? How about The Massive and Edmund Fitzgerald?! $35 bucks gets you six 5 oz samplers, a special GLBC CNJCOMICS Pint glass, a six pack sampler to go and the six comic books to go with it! Last but not least, the return of Halloween Comic Fest all day on Saturday, October 26th! Lots more info to come but start getting the costumes ready for you and those kids! Cosplayers get ready to strut your stuff and dress to impress! Halloween Comic Fest is like free comic book day but you’ve got to be in costume to get free books! Special comics are made just for the day and we’ve got a new photo op backdrop so you’ll be able to capture that picture in style! (get yourself and your kid’s picture up on our Facebook Page, get free comics books and candy, get to see other really cool costumes! What could be better on Halloween!)

Whew. And I thought villains month was rough. But October represents the right blend of family – party – beer – costumes – zombies – awards – star wars, that we love to be a part of!
