New Comic Releases for the week July 23rd

Here’s your featured new comic releases for the week of Wednesday, July 23!

Zero Year concludes this week in Batman #33!

Batman_33 Just in time for Batman Day at the shop! The end to Scott Snyder’s epic year long storyline! Extra sized issue as Batman squares off with the Riddler!

Last week’s Robin Rises was an instant sell out, the story continues this week in Batman and Robin #33!

Batman_and_Robin_33 Batman Vs the Justice League! We’ll have first print copies of that pesky Robin Rises #1 back in this Wednesday too!

Speaking of sell outs last week, we’ve got part two of the Death of Archie storyline in Life With Archie #37!

Life_With_Archie_37​This book will have some really amazing covers by Alex Ross, Cliff Chiang, Jill Thompson, Tommy Lee Edwards, and Walt Simonson. This issue takes place one year after Archie’s death.


We also can’t endorse, Afterlife with Archie #6 enough either.

After_Life_With_Archie_6 This issue starts a new storyline, where we find out what Sabrina the Teenage Witch was doing during the zombie outbreak. Not for kids!

This week Titan Comics has the rights to Doctor Who and they start out strong with two new Doctor Who books!

Doctor_Who_10th_1 Doctor_Who11th_1Both Doctor Who 10th Doctor #1 and Doctor Who 11th Doctor #1 both come out this week. Expect a much stronger book then before as the Brit’s take over!

This week’s indie of the week is Supreme Blue Rose #1 from Image and Warren Ellis!​

Just a quick Heads up that the Walking Dead Volume 21 graphic novel will be in this week!

Another must have title, Saga #21 will be in too!

And finally, GOODNIGHT DARTH VADER!

Goodnight_Darth_Vader Jeffrey Brown has another amazing Star Wars book in the tradition of Vader and Son and Vader’s Little Princess!
