Go Back to the Future at CNJComics on 10-21-2015

It’s the day we’ve been waiting 30 years for! This Wednesday is the day that Marty McFly and Doc Brown went back to the Future!

We’ve got the perfect way for you to commemorate this historic occasion. The first issue of the Back to the Future comic book with a custom CNJComics Cover!

The first issue of the four issue mini series will explore how Doc and Marty first met in 1982 and the second story will tell how Doc got involved with the Manhattan Project during World War II. Many of the characters seen in the Back to the Future trilogy will make appearance, and the IDW comic book series will also feature many “easter eggs” for hardcore Back to the Future fans. This project is being supervised by screenwriter Bob Gale himself, and will be considered Canon.

Sure there will be other covers to this book, but the CNJ Edition will be limited to 500 copies and we’ll be selling it for only $3.99! There is no better way to celebrate this important day in pop culture history.

As you can tell by the memorabilia hanging in the back of the shop, (including a flux capacitor) Back to the Future is a property close to the hearts and souls of the staff, myself included. Whenever I think something is impossible I just look to the optimistic immortal words of Doc Brown:

Don’t worry. As long as you hit that wire with the connecting hook at precisely 88 miles per hour, the instant the lightning strikes the tower… everything will be fine.
