In Store Convention Kick-Off on 3-5-2016

Hot on the heels of Wizard World comes the In Store Convention Kick-Off this Saturday, March 5th from noon until 8pm.

Convention-Kick-Off-LogoGet a first look at upcoming projects from the biggest publishers in the industry, hear from your favorite creative teams, and ask questions to special guests – all without the crowds and confusion of a regular convention.

Here’s all the information on the day!

Select shops around the country have signed up (and paid) to be able to broadcast this event live within their shops. See what some of your favorite creators and comic companies have planned for the year. We’ll be showing the segments on twin television sets all day Saturday.

This is a second year event, and our first year participating.

Supplies are limited on all these items but I’m confident we’ll have enough to cover the time periods.

Since Winston World worked out great for us, we’ll be offering 50% off back issue all day as a thank you. (the last time for awhile, so stock up.)

We’ll also be holding a raffle all day for three Marvel Omnibus’, one entry per person with any purchase.

Winners will be drawn at the event close at 8:05 pm. (yes, we are staying open later) Two will be the first entries picked, and the last one you’ll have to be present to win!

We’re excited to see how this event goes, and even more excited to see if Jason can keep the feed going all day long. :/

BOOM Studies nailed it this week with their release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1.

As Rita plays the heroes against each other, her ultimate plan begins to take form, and vengeance for the Green Ranger’s betrayal will be unleashed on Angel Grove.

Each issue also comes with an impressive starter kit, which includes posters, stickers and coloring sheets. (it’s like really impressive actually.)
