DC Rebirth Continues
This week will be short and simple. DC Rebirth titles will continue to be hard to get, at least for this week and the week of 6-15. Act accordingly! We’ll have a full summary of all things Rebirth coming out soon, but for now numbers will be short. FYI, reprints of all the titles from this past week (6-1-2016) will be available on the fifth Wednesday this month 6-29-2016.
REBIRTH CONTINUES
This week two of DC’s oldest titles return to their original numbering, Action Comics #957 and Detective Comics #934. This puts Action Comics in line to be the first DC comic to reach issue 1,000!
Superman and Lex will be teaming up to fight Doomsday. Plus, who is the new Clark Kent?
Batman and Batwoman team up to train Bruce’s protegees to work as a team. Featuring Spoiler, Red Robin, Cassandra Cain and … Clayface?
One of the most anticipated Rebirth titles in the shop is Flash Rebirth #1!
Indie writer Joshua Williamson (Nailbiter and Ghosted) takes over on Flash, and we’ll see which direction Barry and Wally will head in.
The return of one of Wonder Woman’s greatest writer’s, Greg Rucka!
Rucka’s know for his work on female leads, including Lazarus, White Out and Gotham Central. Diana’s got some post Darksied War baggage to sort out.
Arthur starts on the path to bringing Atlantis into the global community, while conflicted about his mixed heritage.
The big thing to remember about all these books are that they are only $2.99 each!
CIVIL WAR
Civil War did really well for us last week as well, and the standard cross overs and tie ins start rolling out this week.
Find out which side Peter Parker will choose in the Civil War II Amazing Spider-Man four issue mini-series.
Other titles include Civil War II Gods of War #1 (of 4) and New Avengers #12.
HANNA-BARBERA
DC has been selling out of their new Hanna-Barbera titles, and this week we’ve got a weird one. Wacky Raceland #1.
It looks like the crew has gone Mad Max on us, and Mumbly looks a bit terrifying. I’m waiting for the new JabberJaw to come out.
I just made that up but hey, why not? He could be conflicted about his heritage during a Sharknado just like Aquaman.
See you this week!
