We’ve got a full week of new comics at the shop, with Marvels, DC’s and Small Press!
Here’s the featured new releases coming out this Wednesday, July 8th, 2020!
DC COMICS
As Batman heads into the Joker War, we’ve got two new books to get you there.
If you read Batman #93 you understand why the Joker has become more powerful than ever. Issue #94 continues this revelation.
We also have a new issue of Detective, prominently showcasing the Joker as well.
For fans of DCeased, a new six issue mini series begins this week by the original team of Taylor and Hairsine! DC zombies!
For the kids, there’s a new original DC Superhero Girls original graphic novel.
There’s over 40 episodes of this show out there and they’re a big hit in our household. (We’ve been digging the recent-ish Justice League Action’s too.)
MARVEL COMICS
Over at Marvel we have another opening salvo for Empyre with Fantastic Four Empyre #0.
Witness the end of the Kree/Skrull War!
For fans of Hickman’s X-Men run, the first Marauders graphic novel is out, one of the fan favorite spin-offs from the original run.

Community Update
The big extra news is that as of July 4th, masks are now required in the City of Cleveland.
Please understand that we are doing the things we need to do to keep the shop open and operational while keeping everyone safe. I’m all about personal responsibility until the law of the land decides otherwise. We are complying with that law. We have paper masks for sale at the counter if you need one for a dollar each. Free Comic Book Summer
We’re getting closer to our first Free Comic Book (Summer) Saturday in two weeks
The books that will be available on Saturday July 18th include X-Men, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, Captain Canuck, Asterik and the Weirn books sampler. You can get all six books for free starting a 10 am on that day. If the shop’s at capacity then please come back and shop some other time. You can also buy a print for $5 to help us out!
Oh yeah, as previously stated, we will NOT by closed from noon till 4 pm on Thursday, July 9th. We will now be closed on Tuesday July 14th from noon until 4 pm.
