We have some cool stuff coming up this month!

March 20th will be the next Late Nite Comics, and we’re back to the third Thursday like normal! Boxes and boxes of dollar stock and half off back issues!

We’ll be having a free signing with Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss on Sunday, March 30th from 4pm to 6pm!  You may have already seen Rosenberg’s new title, We’re Taking Everyone Down with Us, on the counter encouraging you to add it to your pull. We also set out Boss’s new book, You’ll Do Bad Things, to encourage you too! Both of these titles are well worth checking out! The previews we got early set up some intriguing stories, and issue #1 of both of them will be out the week of their signing!

We are starting to prep for Free Comic Book Day! Mark your calendars for the first Saturday in May, the 3rd! It’ll be here before you know it!

MARVEL COMICS

What will Stephen Strange do now that Doom is Sorcerer Supreme? Searching for a purpose leads him to Asgard. Maybe Thor is in need of a Sorcerer Supreme. But when banished Loki shows up, it’ll become more complicated than he thought! This five issue mini-series from Derek Landy and Carlos Magno sends Doctor Strange in an ambitious new direction!

Another of the Marvel and Disney What If…? one-shots! Writer Steve Behling and artist Alessandro Pastrovicchio ask, what if Mickey and friends became the Avengers? When Loki (Gladstone Gander) needs a terrible threat to lure Thor (Donald Duck) back to Ducksgard he uses Hulk (Goofy) and a giant cake monster! Now it’s up to Iron Man (Mickey Mouse), the Wasp (Minnie Mouse), Ant-Man (Pluto), and Lady Sif (Daisy Duck) to figure out what Loki’s up to! It’s time for the Avengers to assemble!

DC COMICS

Amanda Waller should be in prison. But somehow Waller has gone missing. Dreamer’s nightmares lead her to ask Jon Kent for help figuring out where Waller has gone. With Jay Nakamura reluctantly joining them, they head to Belle Reve for answers. What they find are more questions, and the only lead is Black Alice. Now three heroes are on their way to teaming up with three bad dudes and becoming the new Secret Six! Can Dreamer, Superman, and Gossamer work through their trauma, and figure out how to work with Black Alice, Deadshot, and Catman? Can they uncover the secret of Waller’s disappearance without their secrets tearing them apart? Written by Nicole Maines, with art by Stephen Segovia.

Teen Titans Go! Again! Learning that their comic book has been canceled, the Titans will do anything and everything for a relaunch of the title they didn’t even know was being published! What do the people want? Pulse pounding action? Gritty dystopia? Artsy indie? The Titans have all the ideas! But DC doesn’t want them, so the team turns to drastic measures. They would have to be published if they were the last comic book on Earth, right? All-ages fun from writer Sholly Fisch and artist Dario Brizuela.

SMALL PRESS COMICS

During a battle with Antra, Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters, falls. Mira, a young girl, loses her family in the destruction. Now, the world is overrun with kaiju and without a protector. Surviving in hiding, Mira is surprised by her missing sister Emi, who has shown up with Mothra’s priestesses. Learning that she and Emi are the magical keys to bring about Mothra’s rebirth, the sisters must travel back in time to retrieve an egg. With more monsters waking, this is the only shot the sisters have at saving the world, and possibly bringing their parents back. Written by Sophie Campbell, with art by Matt Frank.
