Andrea’s Trash Panda Picks for 01.22.2025

Hi there Comic Shop Friends! We’re making every effort to keep our regular hours with the freezing temps and winter weather happening this week, so it’s business as usual in the shop. We’re here for you if you want to brave the cold!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Purge! It was the busiest Late Nite Comics trafficwise! Thank you for your participation in the Purge. Let’s make next year’s Purge even more of a success.

February 27th will be the next Late Nite Comics! We’re pushing it back a week to the fourth Thursday of the month because Ben, John Dudas, and John Shearer will be out in California for ComicsPro on our usual Thursday.

Now for comics!

What’s behind the door? What do you remember? Retired FBI agent John Reader is slowly losing his memories while living with a brain tumor. Estranged from his children, and living in a retirement home in the town of Harmless Montana, he’s trying to hold on to his past, and who he is. Part of that past is the unsolved case of the Chatter Man. Never proven to actually exist, the Chatter Man may be responsible for dozens and dozens of unsolved murders over that past fifty years, and it’s those cases that haunt John. Now a killer only John believes exists has returned to Harmless and the detective must fight his own mind and body to hold on to the memories that may help him solve his final serial killer case. Mixing the warmth of nostalgia with the cold reality of aging, Scott Snyder and Jock kick off a murder mystery mini-series with creeping dread, and a creepy masked murderer.
