BATMAN vs. SUPERMAN

We’ve got hundreds of copies of Superman Batman #1 to give away.

Written by Jeph Loeb (Batman Long Halloween, Superman for All Seasons) with art by Ed McGuinness, this is the first chapter of the Superman Batman graphic novel series. Really great story with lots of Kryptonite.

This book will be free with any purchase and we ordered enough to be able to give them away for at least a couple weeks.

Big news for the comic book as Batman #50 marks the return of Bruce Wayne as Batman.

Love it or hate it, Jim Gordon’s run is over. Bruce is back just in time to take out Mr. Bloom. Oversized issue that will have Polybagged variants, some of which contain autographs.

CIVIL WAR

To stay one step ahead of the movie game, Marvel is re releasing all of the Civil War graphic novels.

While the core book is the only story you need to read (and we’ve got plenty of copies) the story did go on a couple fun diversions, Specifically, the books expanding on Iron Man, Captain America, the Amazing Spider-Man and the New Avengers.

Since we’re on graphic novels, if you want to see what a Batman Superman Fight looks like, read the Batman:The Dark Knight Returns. We stocked up heavily on copies of that as well. (it’s a classic, and if you’re reading this and you haven’t read it, you should.)

VARIANT MARVEL MADNESS

We’ve got great news! Marvel decided to clear out their variant inventory and we’ve got boxes of Marvel Variants at cover price! Variants include Skottie Young, Marvel Hip Hop, Hembeck and more! There’s even a bunch of blank sketch covers for artists to do commissions on.

To repeat, all of these variants are cover price! The customers that have gone through them already have come out fascinated. Marvel doesn’t do this often so we jumped on the opportunity.

This week we also got in a restock of Magnets and Buttons, hand picked by the staff to insure coolness. (Just in time to fill those Easter Baskets!)
