Just a quick email to let you know about Batman Day, this Saturday September 17th, 2016. BATMAN DAY This day has really been taken over by big box retailers, after it’s initial success in local comic shops. We still like celebrating one of the greatest characters in comicdom and pop culture in general.
Lots of fun stuff for this fifth Wednesday in June! DC Superhero Girls make their original graphic novel debut in a $9.99 softcover! DC started this launch with a Free Comic Book Day comic and the story continues here in this new story. This is a great way to introduce your kids to the world of DC Comics, and the series itself reminds me of the old Superfriends Challenge of the Superheroes cartoons, with characters from literally all over the DC Universe. DC Entertainment has done a great job of providing addition media to support the line, and you can find a lot of interactive stuff here to make it a modern experience for you and your kiddo.
